The Institute for Relational Intelligence

Support the Science

Fund the science of connection.

The research and education we produce is given back to the public, freely. Your support is what keeps it that way — rigorous, open, and available to everyone.

Why Give

Relational skill is rarely taught. We are changing that.

Loneliness is now understood as a public-health crisis — with effects on the body compared to smoking. Yet almost no one is taught how connection actually works.

We treat connection as a subject of rigorous study and open education: research the public can read, and curricula the public can learn from. Unlike advice, our findings are published on a nondiscriminatory basis and belong to everyone.

Philanthropy is what makes that possible. Because the work is given away rather than sold, it depends on people who believe relational intelligence should be a shared human literacy — not a product.

Where Your Support Goes

Four bodies of work, all released to the public.

02

The Say–Do Gap

Turning the distance between what we intend and how we act into a tool for growth — a mirror, not a verdict.

Behavioral Self-Understanding
03

Signal in the Aggregate

Population-level research on de-identified, consented data into what predicts connection and lasting stability. Published openly.

Public-Interest Science

Ways to Give

Every gift keeps the science open.

Give once

A single gift

Fund a specific study, guide, or workshop. Every contribution is put directly toward research and public education.

Give monthly

Become a sustaining partner

Recurring support gives the work continuity — the steadiest way to keep open research and education alive year over year.

Major & multi-year

Fund a body of work

Underwrite an entire program or a multi-year research line. We’ll build the partnership around the questions you care about.

Legacy

Planned & legacy giving

Make relational literacy part of what you leave behind. We can work with you and your advisors on planned gifts.

The Institute is a proposed 501(c)(3) with tax-exempt status pending. We are not yet accepting donations. Register your intent below and we’ll be in touch the moment tax-deductible giving opens — and confirm your preferred way to give.
